Milos Kovac

Miloš Kovač was born at Krivošije in 1912.

Attended school at Risan, Herceg Novi and Šibenik. At the outbreak of World War II he was serving as an officer in the Army of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. During the World War II participated in the Chetnik movement. After the World War II in 1948 emigrated from Italy to Canada, and in 1961 moved to the USA where he still lives. In Canada and the USA had various occupations from doing odd jobs to running his own farm. He was socially engaged in societies of our emigrants in America. In 2000 he donated his library to the City Library and Reading Room Herceg Novi. Miloš Kovač’s library comprises of 389 monographs and 51 issue of different titles of periodicals. According to UDC, the structure of the library is as follows: general group 5 publications, religion 57, social science 79, applied science 1, art 8, literature, linguistics and philology 156, and geography, history, biography 83 units.
